A new wastewater treatment plant unlike any other goes into operation… Situated in the French district of Meistratzheim in the Ehn basin, the plant collects and treats the wastewater from 11 villages as well as the effluent from the area’s sauerkraut producers, which account for nearly 70% of France’s total production of sauerkraut !
