During a seminar held on 3 December 2009 in Hanoi (Vietnam) on public-private partnerships for water management and the environment, Charles Chaumin (President of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT Asia) and Frédéric GOURDIN (Director of SUEZ ENVIRONMENT China at that time) submitted responses to help Vietnam “reinforce its environmental policies”.

Camille Destans is Head of Partnerships at Emmaus France.
Within the framework of the workshop on the NGOs-Firms partnership organized on April 16th, Camille Destans represented the only structure which does not work in the emerging countries. While discussions mainly focused on development projects, she stressed on the necessity for SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT to act in favor of the 3% to 5% of the French population which do not have a “stable” access to water and assessment services.
